With more than 27 years guiding young minds—grab your special toy, today’s homework or favorite book! Meet Jodi and share her vision to bring together the miles in a hands-on experience online.

Young or older learners are welcome.

Teacher Jodi has been an English teacher for non-English speaking students more than 4000 classes.

Her experience with VIPKID, GOGOKID,

STORY HOUSE ENGLISH and AMAZING TALKER HAS sculptured her teaching style for any student, young or old who wants to learn English as a second language.

She has been rated 5 ★彡[ꜱᴛᴀʀꜱ]彡★ by parents.

She has been working with children and teens in daycares and summer camp program, where she lives on a ranch for 5 years. Her BA degree was acquired at the University of NC at Charlotte and is TESOL certified.

Her goal for your student is to help them sharpen their speaking, listening and reading skills. Through correction of speech, amidst fun conversations of interest, every learner will gain confidence moving forward in their personal & academic affairs.

How many minutes are the classes?

Each class is 50 minutes long with a short break midway.

How will I know you are a good fit?

You can meet her first in a FREE trial 25 minute class, with no obligation to book further.

Can I book for the same time slot each week?

The classes will be filled on a first come first serve basis. We can book the same time slot for your learner when the package is purchased.

What if my schedule changes?

Just email me or contact me through WeChat within 24 hours of the class time and we can reschedule for your child.

What content will you teach?

Most content will be within your child's ability after assessing the first couple of classes, them the classes can be chosen the at the end of each lesson for the next class, but I reserve the right to choose a suitable lesson. If you are in the book club, we will be reading an discussing the current book and theme.

Will my child be bored in your class?

I am open to topics that are of interest to your student and if given adequate time, I can custom the class to a specific topic for discussion.

How do I pay you?

Wepay (Stripe) is preferred . After you make a choice of the package that is right for your student, you will see an invoice in your email inbox. Be sure you provide a good working email address.

What is your teaching philosophy?

It is my goal from one human to another to be patient and consistent, allowing each individual to learn at their pace and ability. Most learning takes place and is long term when there is a genuine interest.

What platform is used for your classes?

Zoom is my preferred platform.
